Click the Configuration icon 
or select View > Program Configuration from the menu to display the Configuration window.
Rate types are categories of rates you offer. For example, you will have a rack rate, and may also have a rate for AAA members, and a rate for rooms reserved via BedandBreakfast.com. Rates and rate types are for lodging charges only. Other rates that include a room with breakfast for example are defined as packages.
To set base rates, you first define rate types, then assign base rates to each rate type.
Click the Configuration icon or select View > Program Configuration from the menu to display the Configuration window.
Select Rate Types to display the Rate Types window.
From here you can add, edit, or delete rate types.
