Importing a Customer List
If you have a list of customers, either from a software program such
as Outlook or from another property management software, you can import
this list into RezOvation GT.
- Create
a CSV (comma separated list) or Excel file with the customer data.
This can include name, address, email, phone, notes, and custom fields.
If the file is in Excel (xls) format, then first open the file
in Excel, and then choose File > Save As, and save the file in
CSV (comma delimited) format.
- Download
the RezOvation GT customer list template,
and format the data within the template. You must use the supplied template
otherwise the import will not work.

If you would like to
import referral source information, then you must first add the
source to RezOvation GT. Referral sources can be defined by selecting
the Referral Sources
link under Configuration in the User Definable Lists and Fields
section. |
- Open
RezOvation GT and select File
> Import Customer List. Browse to the location where
you saved the customer list template, and open the file.
- The
customer list will be imported for you, and a confirmation screen
will appear with the import results. If some records could not
be imported, they will be listed on the screen. Click Save Failed
Records to save the records that could not be imported. You
can then correct these records and import them again.
